Waterproofing bathrooms best practices.

 Waterproofing for home owners.

  •  Use a primer over new sheet.
  • Waterproof the whole shower area including all internals.
  • Use a waterproofing tape or silicon we recommend tape.(Silicon bond breakers need time to dry and need a fairly close join in the sheeting, Tape goes on and is ready to waterproof instantly its 150ml or 6inches wide and covers a lot of area.)
  • Use an external or two part waterproofing membrane for the base, this allows you to waterproof under the showerbase tiles and sand and cement.(otherwise you will need to apply the waterproofing over the sand and cement and directly under the tiles) waterproofing diagram
