Stains in the shower?
What are they and how do i remove them!
If you have a new tiled shower and and a new shower screen you may find you are getting stains on your grout, in corners and on the screen frame and corner bits, these most likely are from mineral deposits hard water stains and soap scum.
Remove these stains with a small hard bristle shower scrubbing brush and a Lime Scale remover, if the shower is old then the problem is much greater., the stains will be well intrenched and will contain mould, first use the above method then a mould remover but beware if the the wall tiles are aged (10 years and more) then the mould may be in behind the tile and can re-appear months after cleaning sometimes the only way is to re-tile.
The life of a shower is between 14 years and 20 years.
